I did most of my photojournalism work at The Chronicle in Centralia, Washington, where I served as the visuals editor. I executed assignments for both still photography in the print edition and video for the web, along with overseeing a staff of other shooters. Centralia bank robbery suspect Michael Anthony Lar appeared in Lewis County Superior Court Thursday morning for a hearing in which attorneys agreed to allow his DNA to be examined. Lar is suspected of several bank robberies across Washington, including one at the TwinStar Credit Union in Centralia last month.
